    Which embroidery file formats are supported?

    PES and PEC (Brother and Baby Lock), DST (Tajima), JEF (Janome), EXP (Melco), VP3 (Pfaff and Husqvarna Viking) and XXX (Singer). HUS isn't supported yet.

    Is it free?

    The embroidery file viewer is free with no sign-in. The design library is free for up to 15 designs; Pro makes it unlimited.

    Can Sewist Studio digitize or convert designs?

    No. Sewist Studio shows and organizes the files you already have. Use your digitizing software, or a free tool like Ink/Stitch, to create or convert designs.

    Is Sewist Studio free to try?

    Yes. Every account starts free — no credit card required. You can catalog your stash, plan projects, and explore features before deciding whether to upgrade.

    Can I cancel or delete my account anytime?

    Absolutely. You can cancel a paid plan or fully delete your account and data from Account Settings at any time, with no penalty or waiting period.

    Can I export my data if I leave?

    Yes. Your stash, patterns, projects, and notions all support CSV export so your data stays yours — whether you keep using Sewist Studio or not.

    Does it work on my phone?

    Yes. Sewist Studio is mobile-first, so you can browse your stash from the fabric store and add items from your phone the moment they come home.
