Is it free to sign up?▾
Yes. The free plan needs no card and has no time limit. It holds up to 50 patterns, 25 fabrics, 50 threads & 30 notions; Pro removes the caps.
Does it handle embroidery designs?▾
Yes. Every account gets an embroidery design library for up to 15 designs: drop in PES, DST, JEF, EXP, VP3 or XXX files, folders or zips and see previews, thread colors and hoop fit, then print contact sheets or true-size templates. The embroidery file viewer is free without an account. Pro makes the library unlimited.
Do I need a card for the Pro trial?▾
Yes. Pro starts with a 14-day free trial and checkout asks for a card, but nothing is charged until the trial ends. Cancel anytime before then from Account Settings and you pay nothing. The free plan never needs a card.
Will it work on my phone?▾
Yes. Sewist Studio is mobile-first and works in any modern browser. You can add it to your phone's home screen for a one-tap app experience.
Can I export my data?▾
Yes — every inventory table exports to CSV. Your stash data belongs to you.
Is Sewist Studio the same as Sewist (sewist.com)?▾
No. Sewist Studio (sewist.studio) is an independent digital sewing-room app. It is not affiliated with Sewist at sewist.com, which is a separate pattern-drafting tool.
